AN ACT concerning

Pensions - Computation of Cost of Living Adjustments

FOR the purpose of altering the method of computing certain cost

of living adjustments of certain retirement allowances
received by certain beneficiaries who were members of the
Employees' Retirement System of the State of Maryland or the
Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Maryland.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Article 73B - Pensions

Section 11C(3) and (5) and 86C(3) and (5)

Annotated Code of Maryland

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 73B - Pensions

11C.

(3) A member who selects the retirement allowance as
provided in this section shall receive a retirement allowance for
all creditable service as follows:

(a)  For service retirement as provided by § 11(3)(a)
of this article;

(b)  For early retirement for service as provided by §
11(3)(a)(i) of this article;

(c)  For retirement for ordinary disability
provided by § 11(5) of this article; and

(d)  For retirement for accidental disability as
provided by § 11(7) of this article.
