term of any member serving on the Board on the effective date of
this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall

take effect July 1, 1986.

(House Bill 302)

AN ACT concerning

Pesticide Applicator's Law - Employee Testing Training

FOR the purpose of requiring certain persons who apply pesticides

to be tested by the State Department of Agriculture and they

must participate in annual training approved by the

Department undergo certain training; requiring the
Department to adopt regulations to carry out the purposes of
this Act that establish criteria for approved training

programs; and generally relating to the testing and
qualifications of certain persons who apply pesticides.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Article - Agriculture

Section 5-201(a), (p), and (q) and 5-209

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1985 Replacement Volume)

BY adding to

Section 5-209.1

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

5-201.

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings
