AN ACT concerning

Natural Resources

- Recreational Use of State Waters
the Potomac River

FOR

the purpose of authorizing the Secretary of Natural Resources
to adopt regulations to foster water safety for recreational
uses of the State waters a certain section of the Potomac
River, including swimming, bathing, wading, diving, tubing,
rafting, and other uses involving contact with the water;
making the Secretary responsible for administering a program
of water safety for recreational uses of waters of the State
a certain section of the Potomac River; and providing a
penalty for violations of Departmental regulations; and
providing that nothing in this subtitle is intended to
affect or limit certain powers and duties of the Secretary
of Health and Mental Hygiene.

BY adding to

Article - Natural Resources

Section 1-601, 1-602, 1-603, and 1-604, and 1-605 to be

under the new subtitle     "Subtitle 6. Recreational

Use of State Waters the Potomac River"
