CORRECTION IS FEASIBLE, THE BOARD SHALL CORRECT THE MISTAKE
WITHOUT DELAY.

(E) ANY CORRECTION OR CHANGE MADE ON A BALLOT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH THE

REQUIREMENT THAT EXACT UNIFORMITY, TO THE EXTENT PRACTICABLE,
PREVAIL AS TO ALL CANDIDATES AND VOTING OPTIONS IN A CONTEST.

(B) BALLOTS SHALL BE PRINTED IN PLAIN CLEAR TYPE IN BLACK
INK AND, EXCEPT IN PRIMARY ELECTIONS, UPON CLEAR WHITE MATERIAL
OF SUCH SIZE AND SHAPE AS TO FIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VOTING
SYSTEM. FOR PRIMARY ELECTIONS THE BALLOTS MAY BE PRINTED, IN THE
DISCRETION OF THE BOARDS, UPON CLEAR WHITE MATERIAL OR MATERIAL
OF DIFFERENT COLORS.

(C) UPON REQUEST, A CORRECT LIST OF THE NAMES OF THE
CANDIDATES FOR THE DESIGNATED OFFICES SHALL BE FURNISHED BY THE
BOARDS TO THE CANDIDATES OR THEIR AUTHORIZED AGENTS.

(D) (1) [(a-1)] The form and arrangement of ALL [that part

of machine] ballots [involving candidates who have filed
certificates of candidacy with the State Board and statewide
questions] shall be prescribed by the State [Administrative]
Board [of Election Laws] in accordance with the requirements of
this section [.];                                                   

(2) THE STATE BOARD SHALL CERTIFY THE CONTENTS AND
THE, ARRANGEMENT THEREOF FOR EACH BALLOT TO BE USED IN EACH
ELECTION NOT LATER THAN THE 31ST DAY PRECEDING THE ELECTION OR
ANY LATER DATE ESTABLISHED BY THE COURT OF APPEALS OF MARYLAND,
IN EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES, UPON PETITION OF THE STATE BOARD.

(E) THE STATE BOARD SHALL ASSURE DELIVERY TO EACH BOARD,
WITHIN 4 DAYS OF CERTIFICATION, OF A COPY OF THE ARRANGEMENT AND
CONTENTS IT HAS CERTIFIED FOR THAT COUNTY PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION
(D) OF THIS SECTION.

[(b) Not less than 25 days before any election the form and
arrangement of the machine and paper ballots to be used in the

election, showing the offices, names of candidates,

constitutional amendments and questions thereon, shall be
prepared by the board and made available for inspection by any
registered voter. Following five days of public display, a court
may not entertain a suit or grant injunctive relief to any party
seeking to challenge the form or arrangement of the ballots or
the wording of a constitutional amendment or question on a
ballot. If the ballot titles of constitutional amendments and
questions are certified prior to 25 days before the election,
they shall be made available for inspection by any registered
voter.]

[(c) If any mistake is discovered, the board shall correct
the same without delay. If the board declines or refuses to make
the correction, then upon the sworn petition of any qualified
voter who would have the right to vote for a candidate or
