AN ACT concerning

Limited Partnerships

FOR the purpose of requiring a limited partnership formed under
the Maryland Uniform Limited Partnership Act to file a
certain certificate under the Maryland Revised Uniform
Limited Partnership Act only after the occurrence of a
certain event; providing an exception certain exceptions to
the filing requirement; providing certain consequences if a
limited partnership formed under the former Act fails to
file a certain certificate under this Act; imposing a
certain penalty when a certain certificate is filed under
this Act; defining a certain term; providing for the
retroactive effect of this Act; making this Act an emergency
measure; and generally relating to limited partnerships.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Except as provided below, the effective date of this Act is
July 1, 1982, and former Title 10 of the Corporations and
Associations Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland (the
"Maryland Uniform Limited Partnership Act") is repealed:
