Transactions are:

(1)  Subject to the provisions of Article 49B of the
Code concerning discrimination and unlawful practices; and

(2)  Not subject to the provisions of [Article 21, §

3-501 of the Code] § 13-501 OF THE STATE FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT
ARTICLE.

13-138.

(d) When bonds are issued by the Authority, it is in the
interest of the public welfare and purpose that the Authority
attempt to achieve a goal that 10 percent of the facility users
are minority business enterprises within the meaning indicated in

[Article 21, § 8-601 of the Code] § 18-601 OF THE STATE FINANCE
AND PROCUREMENT ARTICLE; however, the failure to achieve the goal
shall not affect in any way:

(1)  The validity or enforceability of any bonds
issued by the Authority;                                   '

(2)  The validity of any finding or determination by
the Authority under this subtitle; or

(3)  The validity or enforceability of any agreement
entered into by the Authority under this subtitle.

Article - Health - Environmental

7-232.

(b) Subject to § 7-233 of this subtitle, if the Department
determines that a permit issued under Title 9, Subtitle [3] 2 of
this article is sufficient to carry out the purposes of this

subtitle, that permit shall be considered a facility permit for
purposes of this subtitle, subject to the fee and other

provisions of this subtitle.

Article - Health - General

5-408.

(a) (1) A person may not sell or buy any body or any part
of a body that is under the exclusive control of the Board.

(2) [Except for] A PERSON OTHER THAN a nonprofit

organization that qualifies under § 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code, [a person] may not sell, buy, or act as a broker
for a profit in the transfer of any human organ that:

(i) Is removed from a human body [which] THAT
is alive or dead at the time of removal; and
