more than $1,000 or sentenced to jail for not more than 30 days,
or both.

(2) Each day that a raffle, bingo game, MEMBERS ONLY
INSTANT BINGO or paddle wheel is operated without a proper
license or in violation of any of the terms of the grant of the
license shall constitute a separate offense.

(i) An organization that is found to have violated any
gambling law of this State may not be issued any license under
this section for 1 month from the date of conviction.

(j) The Sheriff of Harford County, municipal police within
Harford County, and peace officers of Harford County shall
enforce this section.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Law Enforcement Officers Department of Public Safety and

Correctional Services - Death Benefits

FOR the purpose of excluding certain special police officers from

receiving certain death benefits; prohibiting permitting the
payment of death benefits for certain law enforcement
officers, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, correctional officers,
and certain fire and rescue squad personnel on a
case-by-case basis where the death resulted from certain

circumstances; establishing a certain priority of
beneficiaries; defining certain terms; providing for the
right of judicial review; and generally relating to death

benefits for law enforcement officers sheriffs, deputy
sheriffs, correctional officers, and certain fire and rescue
squad personnel.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
