HARRY HUGHES, Governor 1457 CHAPTER 379 (Senate Bill 891) Personal Injury Claim - Release of Subsequent Tort-Feasor FOR the purpose of providing that a release executed by a person who has sustained personal injuries does not discharge a BY adding to Article 79 - Releases and Receipts Annotated Code of Maryland (1980 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article 79 - Releases and Receipts A RELEASE EXECUTED BY A PERSON WHO HAS SUSTAINED PERSONAL (1) WHOSE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INJURED PERSON'S (2) WHO IS NOT SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED IN THE SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 1, 1986. |
