HARRY HUGHES, Governor 1437 SELECTION OF AN ARCHITECTURAL-ENGINEERING FIRM FOR A PARTICULAR PROJECT BE MADE ON AN EXPEDITED BASIS, THAT AN EXPEDITED SELECTION BEST SERVES THE PUBLIC INTEREST, AND THAT THE NEED FOR THE EXPEDITED SELECTION OUTWEIGHS THE BENEFITS OF MAKING A 19-209. (b) (1) The General Selection Board [may waive] SHALL WAIVE (i) It determines in writing that the architectural and engineering services cannot be defined so completely as to lend themselves to the procedures set forth in (ii) The public health and safety is endangered (iii) An emergency by the (iv) [A] IT DETERMINES THAT A bona fide single source of supply or a proprietary product or process is required; (V) UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE SECRETARY OF THAT URGENT CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRE PROMPT ACTION AND THAT THE SELECTION OF AN ARCHITECTURAL-ENGINEERING FIRM FOR A PARTICULAR SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall Approved May 13, 1986.
