Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments
286C.

(A)  A PERSON MAY NOT HIRE, SOLICIT, OR ENGAGE A MINOR
ENGAGE, OR UTILIZE USE A MINOR UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS, IN ANY
MANNER, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISTRIBUTING OR DELIVERING, ON BEHALF
OF THAT PERSON, ANY CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE IN SUFFICIENT
QUANTITY TO REASONABLY INDICATE UNDER ALL THE CIRCUMSTANCES AN

INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. UNLESS THE DELIVERY OR DISTRIBUTION HAS A
LAWFUL PURPOSE.

(B)  ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A
FELONY AND, UPON CONVICTION, SHALL BE SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT
FOR UP TO 10 YEARS, AND OR FINED UP TO $10,000, OR BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Consumer Protection Act - Arbitration - Attorney's Fees

FOR the purpose of permitting a person to request the Division of
Consumer Protection of the Office of the Attorney General to
enter into an agreement with a certain person to submit a

dispute regarding a violation of the State Consumer

Protection Act to arbitration under the State Uniform
Arbitration Act; permitting a court to award reasonable
attorney's fees under the State Consumer Protection Act

under certain circumstances; prohibiting the award of

attorney's fees in certain arbitration proceedings; and
generally relating to arbitration and attorney's fees under
the State Consumer Protection Act.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
