areas, in addition to the fees for catching oysters by diving,

(viii) For a resident to catch any fish in
tidal waters by any methods which are lawful under Subtitles 2,
7, 8, 9, and 10............................................. $200
(ix) To buy, process, pack, resell, market, or
otherwise deal in fish caught in tidal waters, as required under
Subtitles 7, 8, 9, and 10....................................$150
(x) To allow a commercial finfish licensee to
place that license in an inactive status.......................$5
(3) The Department shall waive annual license fees
for certain persons, as follows:
(i) Persons who are State residents under 14
and over 64 years of age to harvest crabs by trotline, trap,
pound, scrape, or dip net;
(ii) Persons who are State residents over 64
years of age to harvest oysters by handtong or handscrape in
authorized areas;
(iii) Persons who are State residents over 64
years of age WHO HAVE HELD A TIDAL FISH LICENSE EACH YEAR FOR AT
LEAST 3 YEARS BEFORE THEIR 64TH BIRTHDAY to harvest finfish for
commercial purposes USING NOT MORE THAN 1 BOAT [with a single
gill net up to 200 yards in length; and];
(iv) Persons who are State residents under 14
and over 64 years of age for finfish and crab harvesting for
personal consumption pursuant to §§ 4-709 and 4-804(c); AND
(V) PERSONS WHO ARE STATE RESIDENTS OVER 64
YEARS OF AGE TO HARVEST SOFT-SHELL CLAMS OR HARD-SHELL CLAMS WITH
EQUIPMENT THAT IS LAWFUL UNDER SUBTITLE 10 OF THIS TITLE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986. However, the fees set out in Section 1
of this Act under § 4-701(d)(l) of the Natural Resources Article
remain subject to and do not affect the termination provision
provided for in Section 2 of Chapter 667 of the Acts of 1985.
