AN ACT concerning

Tidal Fish License - Waiver of Fees for Certain Persons

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Natural Resources
to waive certain tidal fish license fees for certain persons
who harvest soft-shell clams or hard-shell clams by certain
methods; removing a certain restriction concerning the
waiver of tidal fish license fees for certain persons to
harvest finfish for commercial purposes; and generally
relating to the waiver of annual tidal fish license fees.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

4-701.

(b) The Department shall utilize a single license, called a
tidal fish license. A tidal fish license shall authorize the
licensee to engage in each activity indicated on the license.

(d) (1) The following annual license fees shall apply:

(i) To provide services as a fishing guide in
tidal waters pursuant to § 4-210:

1.  Resident...........................$35

2.  Nonresident.......................$100

(ii) To catch for sale finfish and eels with
equipment that is lawful under Subtitle 7:
