a duplicate certificate to the administrator, the holder and any
transfer agent, registrar, or other person acting for or on
behalf of a holder in executing or delivering the duplicate
certificate is relieved of all liability of every kind in
accordance with the provision of § 17-313 to every person,
including any person acquiring the original certificate or the
duplicate of the certificate issued to the administrator, for any
losses or damages resulting to any person by the issuance and
delivery to the administrator of the duplicate certificate.
DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects stylistic errors in internal
references in § 17-304(b), (d), (f), and (g) of the
Commercial Law Article.

(b) To avoid conflicts between the administrator's
procedures and the procedures of administrators in other
jurisdictions that enact the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, the
administrator, so far as is consistent with the purposes,
policies, and provisions of this subtitle, before adopting,
amending, or repealing rules, may advise and consult with
administrators in other jurisdictions that enact substantially
the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act and take into consideration
the rules of administrators in other jurisdictions that enact the
Uniform Unclaimed Property ACT.

(d) (4) If a corporation elects under this subsection [(d)]
to be included within the provisions of this subtitle generally,
without qualification or limitation, it shall file with the
Department articles supplementary including a copy of the
resolution making the election and a statement describing the
manner in which the resolution was adopted. The articles
supplementary shall be executed in the manner required by Title 1
of this article. The articles supplementary constitute articles
