(10) Dorchester County: $1,000; and [$500] $1,000 for
expenses.

2-4.1.

In Dorchester County, each member of the board shall be paid
the sum of [$500.00] $1,000 each year to cover his traveling and
other expenses of office.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the compensation of the
members of the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Dorchester
County in office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of
the Board members shall take effect at the beginning of the next
following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.
