prescribed by law. Unless otherwise provided, the compensation
shall be paid in monthly installments. Mileage or travel
expenses may not be allowed to a judge for attending sessions of
his court except as specifically provided.

(f) Each of the judges of the court for Calvert County
shall receive as annual compensation the sum of [$2,500] $3,500.
THE SALARY OF THE CHIEF JUDGE IS $3,700. The County
Commissioners may provide additional funds for expenses for the
judges.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
of the Orphans' Court Judges for Calvert County in office on the
effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act
concerning the salary or compensation of the Orphans' Court
Judges for Calvert County shall take effect at the beginning of
the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

Prince George's County - Property Tax - Interest Rates

FOR the purpose of authorizing the governing body of Prince
George's County to set the rate of interest for county
property taxes that are overdue.
