SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Government

9-117.

(a)  During a calendar year, a licensed agent may not
receive regular commissions that exceed 5% of the licensed
agent's gross receipts from ticket sales made during that year.

(b)  (1) The Commission may authorize the payment of special
bonuses or incentives to licensed agents and their employees.

(2)  The total of the bonuses and incentives may not
exceed one-half of 1% of the gross receipts from ticket sales for
the year for which the bonuses or incentives are awarded.

(3)  LOTTERY SALES AGENTS MAY NOT OFFER PATRONS
INDUCEMENTS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO PURCHASE OR REDEEM LOTTERY
TICKETS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

Caroline County and Cecil Counties - Board of Education -

Compensation

FOR the purpose of clarifying the title of the head of the

Caroline County Board of Education; and altering the

compensation of certain individuals who are members of the
Caroline or Cecil County Board Boards of Education.
