   22                                June Court 1716
    Mr. William Blay takes his place and Sitts on the bench—
   His Lord Ship - | The afd Mary being lately delivered of a base
            at | born Child Comes into Court and appears at the
   Mary Lindall Sert. | barr   ordered by the Court here that the afd —
   to Robt Hutchenson | Mary prove the person that begott her with Child
  ———————— | the afd Mary takes her corporall oath on the Holy -
   Evangelists of Almighty God and Saith that a certain Timothy Slauter
   was the person that begott her with Child   And prays that this Court
   will be favourable as to Punishment~ and Submitts to the Court on Same
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz.t this twentieth day of
   June Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen That
   the afd Mary Lindall receive on her bare back Nine lashes till the
   blood appear for Committing the offence of fornication afd according
   to Act of Assembly in Such case made &ca. and also pay the Sume
   of one hundred and ninety Three pounds of Tobacco Cost arriseing
   on the premises &ca——
   It is Considered by the Court here also The Same day last mentioned
   that William Frisby Gent— high Sherf of this County take the afd Mary
   Lindall into his Custody and Receive as in the Judgment afd and then
   bring her into Court againe
    After which the Same day last mentioned Came the afd Sherf and .
   made return of his precept against the afd Mary Lindall wth. the afd
   Mary as folls viz.t In all things Served & Executed pr Wm Ffrisby Shef.
   ordered by the Court here that the Said Mary Lindall give Surety to pay
   all fees accrueing on the premises afd
   on which Came into Court Robert Hutchenson Mastr of the afd Mary -
   and Saith he will pay all fees to the officers of this Court accruing on
   the premises afd on wch the officers of this Court here discharges the
   afd Mary on Same acct.
   ordered by the Court here that Timothy Slauter the person charged
   by the afd Mary Lindall. to be the begitter of her child pay the Mastr.
   of the afd Mary the Sume of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco for
   Loss time trouble & disgrace about the Lying Inn of the afd Mary &ca

   Indenture to Evan Evans of this County untill he arrive to the age of~.
