November Court 1714 John Wilson haveing had an ordr. of Court to go to Cap.t Edward Pleasto of this County and that he ye. Said Pleasto was to take^Careof the Said John to the next Court and then was to Come to Answ.r what the Said John had to object against him and. that the Court might then do as to Justice might appertain when they Shall have heard what both parties had to Say . . But now Comes the Said Cap.t Pleasto and the Said John Wilson they both~ Come into Court and Severall Arguments between them where argued And the Said Cap.t Edward Pleasto Produces a Dicharge from the Said John Wilson which being Read and heard and by this Court duely Considered This Court here adjudges the Said Discharge to the Said John Wilson given by the Said Capt Edward Pleaston to be good and Sufficient in Law for the Said John Wilson to be at his Liberty and Clear from any Service to the Said Edward Pleasto . and also that the Said John be free and at his liberty to go were he will and that his Said Master Claim not Any more Serice from the Said John &ca Jams Smith Clk The Leavey is Layd as by the Record book for Recording ye Same may more at large appeare Robert Jones of this County Comes into Court and Saith if ye Court thinks fitt he will keep Jane Herring a poor Lame woman The Same to be allowed after ye Rate of one hundred pounds of Tobo pr month for ye next year Ensueing which if She lives to that time to be then allowed in the . Leavey ye Sume of twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco a According to ye time She lives . &ca. Hannah Littman haveing been formerly delivered of a base born Child. and She being a Servant and not Capable of takeing Care of the Same prays that this Court will ordr. Some allowance for ye Same &ca. ordered by the Court here that William Littman the Child of the afd Hannah be taken Care of to Next Novemb.r Court and to be allowed one Thousand pounds of Tobacco to any person that will take Care of him and keepe him in Victualls & Cloaths &. Such other necessarys and Conveniencey as may be needfull for him. if he Should - live ye whole year if not only Equivolent for ye time he lives &ca |
