             Maryland Charles County
       I Mary Cooksey a widdo of Jonas Cooksey late
       of Charles County deceased do hereby Certify that I
       acknowledge to Comply with the aforegoing Indenture
       of apprenticeship of George Butler in furnishing him
       requisite necessaries during his apprenticeship and
       where free to Give said George Butler Forty
       dollars the amount of money expressed as witness
       my hand & seal the third day of March in the year 1834
