State of Maryland Prince Georges County To Wit On this 25.th day of February in the year 1848, personally appeared Benedict F Knott, before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that Negro woman Adaline Newman aged about thirty years was set free by the last will and testament of Matilda Mudd, of the County aforesaid in the year 1823 and that she the said Adeline is the same person named in the will of M Mudd Sworn before Geo W Wilson J.P. |
