                   Maryland Prince Georges County to wit
       On this 31.st day of October 1846  Came Richard Hardey
       before us the undersigned a justice of the Peace in and
       for said county and made oath on the Holy Evangely of
       Almighty God that negro man Tom who calls himself
       Tom Burley is one of the negroes named in the last will
       and Testament of Rich.d H Duvall late of Prince Georges Coty
       deceased to be free at his arrival to the age of fifteen years
       thirty five years   Sworn Before
