       State of Maryland    Prince Georges
       County to wit

       On this second day of February eighteen
       hundred and thirty seven  Personally
       appears Thomas Grimes of said County
       and state and made oath on the
       Holy evangely of Almighty God
       that a certain Thomas Moore a
       free man of Colour of said County
       did by his last will and testament
       which is recorded in the regersters
       office of Prince Georges County
       lieve his Grand Son John Ganer
       a man of Colour - free - and that
       he has presented the said John Ganer
       before me this day and sworn
       that this man is the identical
       John Ganer named in the
       will of the said Thomas Moore
