       I do by here certify that The Mother M.rs Anne
       Snowden did set free all her servants many years
       back and records are lodged in Malborough of it the
       Bearer of this a boy calling himself Seamus Lodge
       says he is the son of Beck Lodge one of those
       liberated by my Mother before his birth
       August 7 1838                     Mary Herbert

                 I hereby certify that from evidence of the fact as above
             stated I am under the impression that the bearer is the Son
             of the abovenamed Becky Lodge one of those manumated by
             M.rs Anne Snowden
