       State of Maryland Prince Georges county to wit
      
             On the twenty third day of May in the year of
       our Lord Eighteen hundred & thirty six before me
       the subscriber one of the Justices of the piece in
       & for aforesaid county personally appears James
       McKee & made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty
       and Loucia ^Harris^ his wife came from Calvert County
       to Prince Georges County & that they Lived on his land
       & had thee Girl childred which have now grown to be
       wimen their names are Mary Ann Harrice she is
       about five feet two & a half inches in height large mouth
       with thick lips with Large eyes  Sarah Harrice she is
       about five feet two & a quarter inches in height she
       has a small scar on her left arm about one inch long
       opposit her elbow & Rosetta Harrice is about five feet
       one half inch in height she has a scar on her right cheek
       occasioned by a burn with broad face & all three are
       black
                                   Sworn to before   Alexander McKee


       they state that they have been down to the court Hers in
       Calvert & that the cleark told them that that my father
       & mothers names were recorded their and that they could
       get their free paprs if they would get a certificate
       to be the children of the foresaid James & Louisa
       Harrice which was set free      Alex.r McKee
       by a certain Mr George Journey
