                   On this 17.th day of May 1834 personally
       appears Richard Turner before me the Subscriber
       a justice of the peace ^of the State of Maryland^ in and for Prince Georges
       County and makes oath on the Holy Evangelly
       of Almighty God that George Williams is
       a free born person and is the reputed son
       of a certain Rackael Williams a free
       woman of colour
