                   State of Maryland Prince Georges County Sc.t
       On this 30 of October 1860 Personally appears before me
       the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the said State &
       County Robert G Pindall and Makes oath on the Holy
       Evangely of Almighty God that William Evans was
       born free and is the reputed Son of Mary Stuart a
       free woman who became Entitled to her freedom in Virtue
       of the Will of a M.r Sunderland of Ann Arundel County
       of said State & also that ^Sarah Ellen^ Ann Scrivener was born free and
       is the reputed daughter of Ann Scrivener a free woman
       of colour who was of of manumition ^became entitled to her freedom in virtue of a deed^ ^the last will and testament^ for certain John L
       Chew of Calvert County the said William Evans &
       Ann Scrivener were born & raised in Anne Arundel County

          W.m 5 feet 2¾ In      Sworn to before
