             State of Maryland Prince Georges County
          On this 2.rd day of November 1853 Personally
       appeared Stephen B Ward before me
       one of the Justices of the Peace in and for
       the state and county aforesaid and made
       oath on the holy Evangely of almighty
       God that Mary Booth the daughter of
       Henry and Ameally Booth is a free born
       Woman that and that she is a native of
       Maryland the said Mary Booth of light
       colour is eighteen years of age well
       made about five feet high Given under
       my hand and seal the day and year
       above writen
                   Sworn before
                                        John J Lambert J. P.

       the bearer of this certificate is desirous to get
