       State of Maryland Prince George's County
       to Wit:

                On the seventh day of April in the year
       of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty six,
       before me the subscriber one of the Justices
       of the Peace, in and for the State and County
       aforesaid, personally appeared Edward L Perrie
       and made oath on the Holy Evangely of
       Almighty God, that Negro Maria is the identical
       person who is named and described in a
       certain deed of manumition from Clement Holliday
       to Negro Isaac and others filed and recorded in
       Liber A B Number One, folio three hundred
       and eighty to the best of his Knowledge and
       belief
