       State of Maryland
                                Prince Georges County to wit
          Be it remembered that on this sixteenth day of April
       1845 before me the subscriber a justice of the
       peace of the State of Maryland personally appears
       Martha Manning & makes oath on the Holy
       Evangels of Almighty God that she did not
       have or know until after the trial of
       the case of Manning v Palmer in Prince
       Georges Court at this time in what ^case^ since
       [illegible] was plaintiff that Elie I Baldwin
       could give any Evidence Material to the issus
       in said case & that she did not have
       that      sworn before
