                Horsehead Prince Georges M D

       1845 July 1.st  This is to certify that Cresey Curtis
       the bearer of this about twenty one years old was
       free born her Mother is wife to my Servant Osborn
       I have seen her free papers frequently and they
       are dated Oct.r 1808 about fourteen years before the
       bearer was born and will be found recorded in
       Calvert County records In testimony whereof I do
       hereunto Subscribe my name
                                                 Rob.t Hanson
       N B Cresy has three Children to wit
       Martha Ann aged about five
       John            aged about three   years
       Columbus    aged about one


                                  Prince Georges County Sct
       On this 25.th day of August 1845  Came before
       Me one of the States Justices of the peace
       in and for the County aforesaid  John R
       Baden and Made oath on the Holy Evangely
       of Almighty God that the above certificate
       is [illegible] & true as stated to the best of his knowledge
       and belief
