       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

            I hereby certify that Althia Brown the bearer
       hereof a bright mulatto woman about nineteen
       years of age five feet two inches high and who
       was raised in the family of Hezekiah Wheeler
       of Prince Georges County ia s free woman and
       obtained her freedom by a Deed of Manumission
       executed by Hezekiah Wheeler to sundry of
       his servants bearing date the twenty second day
       of June Eighteen Hundred and five and duly
       acknowledged and recorded in one of the land
       records of Prince Georges County

                Given under my hand and seal of office
                this twenty second day of March Eighteen
                Hundred and thirteen

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof who calls
       herself Nancy Barton a bright mulatto woman
       about forty five years of age five feet six inches
       high having a scar on the back part of her head

       Rosamond Bently who recovered her freedom in
       Prince Georges County Court on a suit against
       Anthony Addison

                   Given under my hand and seal of office this
                   second day of April in the year of our lord
                   one thousand eight Hundred and thirteen
