       State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Maria B. Hall
       formerly Maria B. Adams a bright mulatto woman
       about twenty five years old four feet ten inches
       high and who was raised in the Town of Piscataway
       in Prince Georges County until she married Nathan
       D. Hall her present Husband is a freewoman
       and was born free

                Given under my hand and seal of office
                this Twenty Sixth day of February in the
                year Eighteen Hundred and thirteen

       The State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a Dark
       mulatto man by the name of Joseph Peck about
       Thirty three years old five feet six inches high
       marked with the small pox and having a scar
       over his left eye and one on the back part of his
       head who was raised in the Town of Upper
       Marlborough in the county aforesaid is a freeman
       being the descendant of a free woman
       by the name of Rebecca Peck

                Given under my hand and seal of office
                this Eighteenth day of March in the year
                Eighteen Hundred and thirteen
