2 The State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit I hereby Certify that the Bearer hereof a Mulatto woman by the name of Ann Carr thirty one years old 5 feet 2¼ Inches high has a scar about ½ Inch in length under her right age of a bright yellow complexion is a Free woman was held by Prince Georges County Court at August Term Seventeen Hundred and seventy seven to a certain Mary berry untill she arrive to the age of thirty one years under the conviction of her Mother of mulatto Bastardly being at that time a child of three months old Given under my hand and seal of my office this 17.th day of June in the year of our lord 1808 John N Magruder j.r cl P G Cy C.t Maryland Prince Georges County to wit I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof a slender Black man named Billey appearing to be about forty years old of a thin visage having a scar between the thumb and finger of his left had five feet nine inches and a half high who was raised in Prince Georges County in the Family of Thomas Addison deceased Father to M.rs Hanson the wife of Thomas H.
