       Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

             I hereby certify that Negro Betsey otherwise
       called Betsey Gastus  the bearer hereof a dark complected
       woman about twenty three years of age five
       feet one Inch high has a small scar above the left eye
       at the lower edge of the eyebrow has also ^with^ a sharp chin
       and small ears that the said Betsey Gastus is a free
       woman and appears by a manumission from Eleanor
       Waring duly acknowledged and recorded in the clerks
       office of the county aforesaid on the twelfth day
       of June Eighteen hundred and ten

                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto
Identified by         subscribed my name and affixed the
