AN EMERGENCY ACT to establish and delineate a floodplain
district within Wicomico County, to provide for the issuance of
permits, and to impose certain regulations on construction and
land development within the district, to be known as" the
"Wicomico County Floodplain Management Ordinance".

Bill 5
AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "Zoning", amending the map entitled "Wicomico County
Zoning Map" referred to in Section 76 of said Chapter, to rezone
certain property on the Westerly side of U.S. Route 50 owned by
Drusilla W. Houchins and Dorothy A. Vaughn from Residential R-15
to Commercial, and certain other property on the Northerly side
of but not binding upon U.S. Route 50, and on the Southwesterly
side of and binding upon Merritt Mill Road owned by Jason S.
Tilghman and C. Grayson Jones, from Regional Commercial to Light
business and Institutional.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 196, titled "Stormwater
Management", of the Wicomico County Code, by repealing in its
entirety said Chapter and reenacting said Chapter to authorize
and empower the County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland, to
establish rules, regulations and standards providing for the
management of stormwater in Wicomico County, and to provide for
the proper collection, channeling, retention, detention, erosion
control, sediment control and disposal of stormwater connected
with any building or site improvement in future development or
redevelopment, including subdivisions, pursuant to the power and
authority contained in Wicomico County Code, Chapter 22, Section
22-2, Section 22-12 and Article 25A, Section 5(w) of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition).
