AN ACT concerning

Transfer Tax

FOR the purpose of increasing the transfer tax from 1% to 1
1/2% and providing that this Act shall be of no effect after July
1, 1987; . providing for the rate of transfer tax on certain
instruments of writing recorded prior to a certain date; and
providing for the manner of payment of the transfer tax in
certain circumstances.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments:

SUBTITLE 10. FINANCE AND TAXATION.
Sections 10-188(a), and

10-191,
The Prince George's County Code
(1979 Edition, 1982 Supplement).

Effective July 31, 1984.

rate limitation an alternative limitation based on a maximum tax
rate.
