Laws of Montgomery County 1985

AN EMERGENCY ACT to legalize and cause the publication of
the Montgomery County Code 1984.

WHEREAS, Under the direction of the County Attorney, an
indexed Annotated Code has been compiled of all public local
laws. County legislation, rules, and regulations that have the
force and effect of law as of July 1, 1984, and the County
Charter; and

WHEREAS, The indexed Annotated Code is designated as the
Montgomery County Code 1984; and

WHEREAS, Section 504 of Article 5 of the Charter of
Montgomery County provides that the County Council by legislation
shall legalize the Code and cause it to be published in an
indexed volume; and

WHEREAS, The Montgomery County Code 1984 includes all of the
laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations in force as of July 1,
1984, and the County Charter; now, therefore

Effective Date August 28, 1984.
