A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF CAPITOL
HEIGHTS TO ADD PROCEDURES TO THE CHARTER FOR THE REMOVAL OF
ELECTED OFFICIALS FROM OFFICE, PROVISIONS FOR FORFEITURE OF THEIR
OFFICES AND PROCEDURES RELATING TO IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS
[Section 7-0 of the Charter of the Town of Capitol Heights,
Prince George's County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF CECILTON ADOPTED
PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE HE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF
MARYLAND, SECTION 13 OF ARTICLE 23A OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF
MARYLAND 1957 EDITION, 1981 REPLACEMENT VOLUME, TITLED
"CORPORATIONS-MUNICIPAL" TO ADD A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS
"SECTION 808" OF THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF CECILTON AS AMENDED,
SAID RESOLUTION CONSTITUTES AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER
OF THE BODY POLITIC AND CORPORATE KNOWN AS "THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF CECILTON".
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 11E of the Constitution
of Maryland and in accordance with Section 13A of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition, the Mayor and
Council of Cecilton unanimously resolved to add a new Section 808
to the Town Charter to enable it to appoint a Town Engineer and
to contract for other professional services.
