RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF BOONSBORO TO AMEND THE TOWN CHARTER

AMENDMENT NO. 84-1

This Resolution of the Council of the Mayor and Council of
Boonsboro, Maryland, is adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 11-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of
Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Corporations-Municipal", subtitle "Home Rule", subheading
"Charter Amendments", as said Section was enacted by Chapter 423
of the Laws of Maryland, of 1955, to amend the Charter of the
Mayor and Council of Boonsboro, as said Charter appears in the
Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County (1980 Edition) by
amending Sections 3-21, 3-22 and 3-31 thereof, entitled
respectively, "3-21. Mayor; duties, salary.", "3-22. Assistant
Mayor; duties, salary; salary of Council." and 3-31. Salaries of
officers."

of Boonsboro, Washington County, as found in the compilation of
Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and
reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date April 24, 1984]
