routine administrative purposes only.

B. The Juvenile Services Administration may
provide the Council with such additional staff
support, services and technical assistance as
necessary and as provided in the State budget.

EXECUTIVE ORDER OF NOVEMBER 19, 1984

PROCLAMATION ON POTOMAC RIVER FISHERIES COMMISSION

WHEREAS, The State of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia
are both vitally interested on conserving and improving the
valuable fishery resources of the Tidewater portion of the
Potomac River; and

WHEREAS, The General Assembly of the State of Maryland, and the
General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia have
adopted legislation in furtherance of this purpose through
the creation of the Potomac River Fisheries Commission; and

WHEREAS, By Chapter 703 of the Acts of 1984, the General Assembly
of Maryland enacted legislation providing that the employees
of the Commission shall be eligible for health and related
insurance for State employees in §2.1-20.1 of the Code of
Virginia or Article 64A, §48A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, whichever is applicable; and

WHEREAS, I approved and signed Chapter 703 of the Acts of 1984 on
May 29, 1984; and

WHEREAS, Chapter 703 provides;

"That this Act may not take effect until a similar Act
is passed by the Commonwealth of Virginia; that the
Commonwealth of Virginia is requested to concur in
this Act of the General Assembly of Maryland by the
passage of a similar Act; and that upon that event the
Governor of the State of Maryland shall issue a
proclamation declaring this Act valid and effective";
and

WHEREAS, By Chapter 637 of the Acts of Assembly of 1984, the
General Assembly of Virginia did adopt a similar Act thereby
concurring with Chapter 703 of the Acts of the Maryland
General Assembly; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Charles Robb, Governor of Virginia, on
