HARRY HUGHES, Governor

4023

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 933.

This bill provides for annual salary increases during
certain years for the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney,
subject to certain conditions and limitations.

Senate Bill 589, which was passed by the General Assembly
and signed by me on April 9, 1985, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 933.

Sincerely,
Harry Hughes
Governor
