Senate Bill 328, which was passed by the General Assembly
and signed by me on April 9, 1985, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 566.

AN ACT concerning

Judgeships - Circuit Court

FOR the purpose of altering the number of circuit court
judgeships in the Sixth (Montgomery County portion) and
Seventh (Prince George's County portion) judicial circuits.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

Section 1-503

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1984 Replacement Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

1-503.

(a) In each county in the first seven judicial circuits
there shall be the number of resident judges of the circuit court
set forth below, including the judge or judges provided for by
the Constitution:

(1) Allegany........................................2

(2) Anne Arundel....................................9

(3)  Baltimore County...............................13

(4)  Calvert.........................................1

(5)  Caroline........................................1

(6)  Carroll.........................................2

(7)  Charles.........................................2
