Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 565.

This bill alters sheriff's fees; provides a fee for services
rendered in administrative agency proceedings; and provides for
the refund of fees for papers not served.

House Bill 565, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on April 9, 1985, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 565.
