Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 310.

This bill establishes certain time limits for contract
disputes before the State Board of Contract Appeals.

House Bill 218, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 28, 1985, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 310.

AN ACT concerning.

Procurement - Board of Contract Appeals - Time Limits

FOR the purpose of establishing certain time limits for eases
contract disputes before the State Board of Contract
Appeals; and providing for a waiver of any time limit upon
the agreement of all parties in a case an effective date for
this Act; and providing for a certain contingency.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
