HARRY HUGHES, Governor

3767

This bill provides minimum sentences for certain subsequent
convictions for certain alcohol related driving offenses.

House Bill 245, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 28, 1985, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 32.

Sincerely,
Harry Hughes
Governor

Senate Bill No. 32

AN ACT concerning

Alcohol-Related Driving Offenses - Penalties

FOR the purpose of providing certain mandatory minimum penalties
for subsequent convictions of certain alcohol-related
driving offenses that occur within a certain period of time
after a prior conviction; defining a certain term; providing
that penalties imposed under this Act are not subject to
suspension or probation; and generally relating to
sentencing for certain alcohol-related driving offenses.
