(b) Any person, firm or corporation keeping, maintaining or
operating any such machine or device without a license, shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be
fined one hundred dollars ($100.00). All license fees collected
under the provisions of this section shall be paid to the County
Commissioners of Carroll County and credited to the general funds
of the county.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That until the County
Commissioners set the license fee as provided in this Act, the
fee shall be $30 for each machine or device.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning
Dietitians - Licensing
FOR the purpose of creating a State Board of Dietetic Practice in
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; providing for
the composition of the Board and the appointment, terms, and
qualifications for members; providing for the election of
officers of the Board and for quorums, meetings,
compensation, and staff for the Board; providing certain
powers and duties for the Board; providing for certain fees;
requiring a certain license to practice dietetics in the
State; providing for the qualifications for applicants for
licenses, for certain examinations, for the terms,
procedures, fees, and requirements for renewal of a license;
providing for waivers from examination requirements under
certain conditions; requiring the Board to provide certain
notice to certain applicants; requiring the Board to issue
certain licenses containing certain information in certain
circumstances; providing for inactive licenses and for
reinstatement of expired licenses; requiring the display of
licenses and certain notice to the Board of certain licensee
changes; providing certain disciplinary powers to the Board;
requiring hearings under certain circumstances prior to
certain actions by the Board; providing for certain appeals
of certain actions; prohibiting certain actions and
representations; providing that the rights of certain
individuals are not limited under this Act; providing for
penalties; providing for the termination of this Act;
