certain land from intentionally doing certain acts that
interfere with hunters or certain animals; providing that
certain conduct does not constitute unlawful interference;
providing for the enforcement of certain rights under this
Act; allowing certain police officers to take certain
actions against a violator of this Act; providing for the
scope of this Act; providing for penalties; making stylistic
changes; and generally relating to a prohibition on
intentionally interfering with hunters or animals in a
designated hunting area certain hunting areas.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

10-422.

(A)  IF THE DEPARTMENT DETERMINES THAT A SIGNIFICANT
INTERFERENCE OR DISRUPTION OF A HUNT OR HUNTERS IS LIKELY TO
OCCUR ON ANY PUBLIC LAND LAND MANAGED BY THE DEPARTMENT, THE
DEPARTMENT MAY ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO ESTABLISH
DESIGNATED HUNTING AREAS ON THE PUBLIC LAND TO PROHIBIT THAT
INTERFERENCE OR DISRUPTION.

(B)  WHILE ON PRIVATE LAND THAT IS OWNED BY ANOTHER PERSON
OR IN A DESIGNATED HUNTING AREA ON PUBLIC LAND LAND MANAGED BY
THE DEPARTMENT, A PERSON MAY NOT:

(1) INTERFERE INTENTIONALLY WITH THE LAWFUL TAKING OF
WILDLIFE BY ANOTHER PERSON; OR
