(II) NOT LESS THAN 2 YEARS OF SUPERVISED
EXPERIENCE IN COUNSELING OF A TYPE APPROVED BY THE BOARD, 1 YEAR
OF WHICH SHALL HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AFTER THE AWARD OF THE
DOCTORATE.
(4) IN THIS SUBSECTION, "COUNSELOR TRAINING" INCLUDES
BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO INSTRUCTION IN:
(I) COUNSELING THEORY;
(II) COUNSELING TECHNIQUES;
(III) HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT;
(IV) GROUP DYNAMICS, PROCESSING, AND
COUNSELING;
(V) SOCIAL AND CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS;
(VI) LIFESTYLE AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT;
(VII) APPRAISAL OF INDIVIDUALS;
(VIII) RESEARCH AND EVALUATION; AND
(IX) PARTICIPATION IN A SUPERVISED PRACTICUM IN
PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING.
(E) EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS TITLE, THE
APPLICANT SHALL PASS AN EXAMINATION GIVEN APPROVED BY THE BOARD
UNDER THIS SUBTITLE.
(F) THE APPLICANT WHO HAS APPLIED FOR A CERTIFICATE UNDER
THIS SECTION AND WHO WISHES TO OBTAIN AN ENDORSEMENT OF
COMPETENCE IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL
DISORDERS SHALL SUBMIT TO THE BOARD PROOF THAT THE APPLICANT:
(1) HAS MET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION AS A
PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR ESTABLISHED IN THIS SUBTITLE;
(2) HAS COMPLETED, EITHER AS A PART OF THE
APPLICANT'S MASTER'S OR DOCTORAL PROGRAM OR AFTER THE AWARD OF
THE APPLICANTS MASTER'S DEGREE OR DOCTORATE, A MINIMUM OF 30
GRADUATE CREDIT HOURS OF INSTRUCTION IN:
(I) CLINICAL PSYCHOPATHOLOGY, PERSONALITY, AND
ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR;
(II) EVALUATION OF MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL STATUS;
(III) DIAGNOSIS OF MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL
DISORDERS;
(IV) METHODS OF INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION OF
MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL DISORDERS; AND
