fee, not exceeding [$50] $75, as may be fixed by the Court of
Appeals.
All moneys collected under this subtitle shall be paid over
to the Treasurer and shall become general funds of the State.
Such moneys shall thereafter be disbursed by the Comptroller only
pursuant to an appropriation made in accordance with §§ 32 and 52
of Article 3 of the Constitution or pursuant to the provisions of
§§ 1 through 15, inclusive, of Article 15A of this Code, title
"Budget and Fiscal Planning," as amended from time to time.
Any fraudulent act or representation by any applicant in
connection with his or her application, registration or
examination shall be sufficient cause for the revocation of the
order admitting him or her to practice.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

(d) (1) The Court of Appeals shall prescribe rules for a
uniform system of bar examination in this State, for registration
as aforesaid, for character examination of each applicant, for
admission to the bar, and for the fees to be paid by the
applicant and generally such other rules as may be necessary or
convenient to carry out the provisions of this section. Every
applicant upon presenting himself or herself for examination
before the Board of Law Examiners, shall pay to the Board such
fee, not exceeding [$50] $75, as may be fixed by the Court of
Appeals.
(2) All moneys collected under this subtitle shall be
paid into the General Fund of the State.
(3) Any fraudulent act or representation by any
applicant in connection with his or her application, registration
or examination shall be sufficient cause for the revocation of
the order admitting him or her to practice.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of
this Act shall take effect on June 1, 1985.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of
this Act shall take effect on October 1, 1985, contingent upon
the taking effect of Chapter __ of the Acts of 1985
(S.B.____)(51r2307), and if Chapter __ does not become effective,
Section 2 of this Act is null and void without the necessity of
further action by the General Assembly.
