status: central visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better
eye, with corrective glasses, or central visual acuity of more
than 20/200 if there is a field defect in which the peripheral
field has contracted to such an extent that the widest diameter
of visual field subtends an angular distance no greater than 20
degrees on the better eye.

(V) "READER" INCLUDES:

1.  A HUMAN READER; OR

2.  A MECHANICAL DEVICE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985 and shall be applicable to all taxable
years beginning after December 31, 1984.

CHAPTER 690

(House Bill 1284)

AN ACT concerning

Apprenticeship and Training Council

FOR the purpose of altering certain provisions of law to provide
that the membership of and consultants to the Apprenticeship
and Training Council shall include representation by certain
persons; defining a certain term; altering the membership of
the Council; requiring the Secretary of Employment and
Training to consider certain factors in advising the
Governor on appointments to the Council; providing for
staggered terms; and generally relating to the appointment
of members to the Council.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 207B
